Degree Admission for the 2026 session is published by the National University at https://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. There is no admission test at this level. Places are worked out from your grade point, so the merit list is the result. Applicants left out of the merit list apply again through the release slip.

How to Check Degree Admission 2026
The merit list is published on the admission portal, not on the examination result site. Sign in with the roll and PIN printed on your application form.
On the admission portal
The full merit position, subject and college.
Open the admission portal
Go to http://app1.nu.edu.bd/ — or reach it from https://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. The examination result site does not carry admission results.
Choose your level
Pick Degree from the applicant login page for the 2026 session.
Sign in
Type the application roll number and the PIN from your application form, then submit.
Read the merit result
The page shows whether you are selected, the college and the subject allotted, and your merit position.

If your name is on the merit list
Final Admission Form Fill-up
Being on the merit list is not admission. You have to fill in the admission form on the portal, pay the fee, and hand the papers to your college before the deadline — or the seat goes to someone else.
Do this as soon as the merit list is out. Colleges close their lists on the published date and there is no reopening.

Open http://app1.nu.edu.bd/ and log in with your application roll and PIN.
Open the admission form
Choose the final admission form for the 2026 session and check that the college and subject shown are the ones you were allotted.
Download and print it
Print two copies. One stays with the college, one stays with you.
Sign and attach the papers
Attach the documents listed beside this. Photocopies must be attested where the form says so.
Submit at your college
Hand everything in at the college office and pay the admission fee. Ask for a receipt before you leave.
If you were not selected
Release Slip Application
The release slip is the second chance. Applicants who were not placed in any merit list, and those who chose not to take the seat they were given, apply again against the places still empty.
Empty places are published college by college. You pick from what is genuinely left, so choosing widely matters more than choosing hopefully.

The release slip opens only after the merit-list admissions close. Watch https://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions.

Use the application form you already have. You do not apply afresh.
See where places are left
The portal lists the colleges and subjects with empty seats. Only those can be chosen.
Order your five choices honestly
Put the college you would actually attend first. The system works down your list and stops at the first place it can give you.
Submit and keep the printout
Print the confirmation. You will need it when the release slip result comes out.
The second and third rounds
Release Slip Result
The release slip result is published in rounds. Each round fills what is left after the one before it, so a place that was not available in the first round can appear in the second.
Check it the same way you checked the merit list: sign in at the portal with your application roll and PIN.

If a place was found, the college and subject appear. If not, wait for the next round.

Degree Admission — Questions Students Ask
Where is the degree admission published?
On the admission portal at http://app1.nu.edu.bd/, linked from https://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. It is not on the examination result site, which is a different service.
I have lost my PIN. What now?
The PIN is printed on the application form you downloaded when you applied. If that copy is gone, your college or the regional centre can help recover it — the university does not send it by SMS.
My name is on the merit list. Am I admitted?
Not yet. You are admitted once the final admission form is submitted at the college with the fee and the papers, before the deadline.
What is a release slip?
It is the round that fills the seats still empty after the merit lists. Applicants who were not placed, or who gave up a place, choose again from what is left.
How many choices does the release slip allow?
Five college and subject combinations. They are considered in the order you put them, so the first should be the one you would actually attend.
Is there an admission test at this level?
No. Admission at this level is decided on grade point, so there is nothing to sit and nothing to score.
Can I change my subject after admission?
Only within the rules the college publishes, and only while the university allows subject change for the session. Once the session closes, the allotted subject stands.
