Masters Final Year Result 2026
Masters Final is a smaller, more specialised examination than the honours cycle, taken in around six hundred colleges that hold the Masters affiliation. Many departments include a thesis, a project report or an extended viva in the final marks, so a student can pass every written paper and still be held back by an unsubmitted thesis. Check the course list on your marksheet against your department register if the result looks incomplete.

If the reply does not come
- Check the spelling. It is NU, one space, MF, one space, then the roll — nothing else.
- Registration numbers do not work by SMS. Use the roll printed on your Masters Final Year admit card.
- Check the publication date first. Texting a day early produces silence, not an error message.
- One message is enough. Repeated sends slow the gateway down for everybody.

Read the revaluation notice
It names the exam, the courses that can be challenged, the last date and the fee.
Open the application form
Use the board challenge option for Masters Final Year on the National University portal.
Select only the courses you doubt
You pay for each course separately, so choose the ones where the grade is genuinely surprising.

Keep the application number printed on it. You need it for payment and for follow-up.

Colleges set their own internal deadline, always earlier than the university one. Do not leave it to the last day.

Pay only through the channel named in the Masters Final Year notice. Nobody from the university will phone you asking for money.

Worth knowing first
- Revaluation re-checks the addition and any unmarked answer. It is not a fresh evaluation.
- Most applications end with no change, and the fee is not refunded.
- The revaluation result is final. There is no second appeal.
- Keep filling up the form for your next year while the challenge is pending.

Why is my Masters result showing as incomplete?
Usually a thesis, project or viva mark has not reached the university from the college. Contact your department first, because the college has to send the missing mark.
Can I challenge my thesis or viva marks?
No. Board challenge covers written papers only. The revaluation notice for each cycle lists exactly which courses can be challenged.
How long does the Masters certificate take?
The provisional certificate is usually available within weeks of the result through your college. The original certificate and transcript take longer and are applied for separately.
What CGPA is needed for a first class in Masters?
The class boundaries are set in the regulation for your session and printed on your transcript. Ask your department for the notice that applies to your admission year.
