By 2nd Year most students have found the rhythm of university papers, and the pass rate reflects that — it is normally six to eight points above 1st Year.

Honours 2nd Year Result 2026

Your roll or registration number goes straight to the official National University server.

This form only forwards your number to results.nu.ac.bd. No result is stored or logged here.

A blank page usually means the server is saturated. Try again shortly, or switch to the SMS method below.

Honours 2nd Year Result 2026

The 2nd Year result carries a complication the 1st Year result does not: many students are sitting carried-forward courses from the previous year at the same time. Those improvement results are published in the same sheet, so read the grade column course by course rather than looking only at the pass line. If a carried course still shows F, it stays with you into 3rd Year.

Step by step

How to check Honours 2nd Year Result

If you sat an improvement paper this year, always use the marksheet view. The short result does not tell you what happened to the carried course.

Check online

Every course, every grade point, and the CGPA in one sheet.

  1. Open results.nu.ac.bd

Open it on a phone, a laptop or a cyber cafe machine. Expect it to be slow for the first hour after Honours 2nd Year is released.

  2. Choose Honours 2nd Year

Pick the right course group first, then the year. Selecting the wrong year is the usual cause of a result not found message.

  3. Enter your roll or registration number

Copy the number exactly as printed on your admit card, with no spaces or dashes.

  4. Select the exam year

Choose the year printed on your admit card — the exam year for the 2022-23 session, not your registration year.

  5. Press search

Your name, roll, course grades and CGPA appear. Save a screenshot or print the page.

Check by SMS

Costs one SMS and needs no data pack at all.

  1. Open your message app

Any handset will do. A basic button phone sends this as well as a smartphone.

  2. Type NU H2 and your roll

For Honours 2nd Year the format is NU H2 123456, using your own roll number.

  3. Send to 16222

16222 belongs to the university and every Bangladeshi operator can send to it. Do not add a country code.

  4. Read the reply

The gateway answers with a brief summary. Give it a few minutes before deciding it has failed.

No internet needed

Honours 2nd Year Result by SMS

Build the exact message below, copy it, and send it to 16222 from any mobile phone. Use H2 for 2nd Year. Improvement results for 1st Year courses do not have a separate SMS code — they appear in the online marksheet only.

The exact format

NU space H2 space ROLL

Send to 16222

Example: NU H2 123456

Your operator bills a normal text message. No university charge is added on top.

If the reply does not come

  • Check the spelling. It is NU, one space, H2, one space, then the roll — nothing else.
  • Send the roll number, not the registration number. The gateway only understands rolls.
  • The gateway holds no data until the result is officially released, so an empty reply may just mean you are early.
  • Give it a quarter of an hour before trying again. The queue clears on its own.

Grades, points and CGPA

Honours 2nd Year Result with Marksheet

Look for two blocks on the 2nd Year marksheet: the regular 2nd Year courses, and below them any 1st Year course you re-sat.

  1. Open the result server

Go to results.nu.ac.bd and choose Honours 2nd Year.

  2. Use your registration number

Use the registration number here — the long number on your registration card, not the Honours 2nd Year roll.

  3. Select the exam year and search

The sheet opens with your name, college, every course, its letter grade and its grade point.

  4. Read the grade column

Scan each row before celebrating. A single F changes what you have to do next year.

  5. Save or print it

Screenshot it now. The server does not keep old Honours 2nd Year sheets reachable forever.

Board challenge

Honours 2nd Year Revaluation Application

If a grade looks far below what you expected, you can pay to have the script re-checked. You can challenge a 2nd Year course and a carried 1st Year course in the same application, but you pay the fee separately for each one.

Last date 15–20 days after publication
Fee per course BDT 1,000
Applies through Your college

How to apply

  1. Read the revaluation notice

It names the exam, the courses that can be challenged, the last date and the fee.

  2. Open the application form

Use the board challenge option for Honours 2nd Year on the National University portal.

  3. Select only the courses you doubt

You pay for each course separately, so choose the ones where the grade is genuinely surprising.

  4. Download the pay slip

Keep the application number printed on it. You need it for payment and for follow-up.

  5. Pay the fee

Through the channel named in the notice — Sonali Seba at a bank branch, or the mobile option if the notice allows it.

  6. Hand the copy to your college

Colleges set their own internal deadline, always earlier than the university one. Do not leave it to the last day.

Open the application portal

Paying the fee

Follow the notice for payment. No official ever collects a revaluation fee for Honours 2nd Year by phone or bKash personal number.

  • Sonali Seba Print the slip and pay at any Sonali Bank branch. Keep the stamped student copy.
  • Mobile banking bKash, Rocket or Nagad, where the portal shows the option for your exam.
  • Through the college Some colleges collect and pay in bulk. Ask your department before paying alone.

Worth knowing first

  • Revaluation re-checks the addition and any unmarked answer. It is not a fresh evaluation.
  • Most applications end with no change, and the fee is not refunded.
  • The revaluation result is final. There is no second appeal.
  • Keep filling up the form for your next year while the challenge is pending.

How to check it

  1. Find the notice

Look on the National University notice board for a notice naming Honours 2nd Year and the words revaluation or board challenge.

  2. Download the PDF

The Honours 2nd Year PDF lists only the roll numbers whose marks were actually corrected.

  3. Search your roll number

Do not read the Honours 2nd Year list line by line. Search it — Ctrl+F on a desktop, the magnifier on a phone.

  4. Roll not listed

A missing roll means the examiners confirmed the first marking of your Honours 2nd Year script.

  5. Roll listed

Search your roll on the result site again and the updated Honours 2nd Year CGPA will be there.

Asked by students

Honours 2nd Year Result — common questions

How can I check the Honours 2nd Year result 2026?

Choose Honours and 2nd Year on results.nu.ac.bd and enter your roll or registration number, or send NU H2 <your roll> to 16222 from any mobile phone.

Where do I see my 1st Year improvement result?

Improvement marks appear inside the 2nd Year detailed marksheet on the result server, under your regular courses. They are not sent in the SMS reply.

I passed 2nd Year but a 1st Year course still shows F. What now?

The course stays outstanding. You sit it again with the next available exam of that year and you must clear it before the university can issue your final honours result.

Does the 2nd Year CGPA count towards my final result?

Yes. Every year of the honours course contributes to the final CGPA that appears on your transcript, so a weak 2nd Year cannot be ignored later.

How many courses can I carry from 2nd Year to 3rd Year?

The limit is fixed in your session regulation, not by a single national rule. Read the promotion notice published for your own session and confirm it with your department.
